The American Chestnut Foundation: we handled their marketing from end to end, including producing their documentary. People still donate to watch it today. Read the case study
The build is the easy part
Most of the work on a website happens before a single page exists. Here is what we do first.
- We go onsite. We watch how the work actually gets done, from start to finish.
- We interview your people. Owners, the staff who schedule and deliver the work, and whoever talks to prospects. Each of them knows something the others don't.
- We learn the story. What your goals are, what you didn't like about the old site, and what the business means to the people who built it.
- We capture your voice. We record the conversations, so the site sounds like you and not like a marketing firm.
- We verify the market with you. Who your customers are, where you can serve them, and where you can't.
- We talk about weaknesses. If something isn't reliable yet, we don't promise it on your website. We also agree on what shouldn't be said at all.
- We map how leads flow. What happens after someone calls or fills out a form, and who handles it.
- We draw the blueprint. A full site architecture plan, reviewed and approved by you.
Then, and only then, we build. And we leave room for a little fun.
What you get
Custom code, not a page builder
We don't build on WordPress or Wix. Each site is custom-coded, so there are no themes to work around and no plugins to update or break. Pages load fast, and the design fits your business instead of a template.
Built for Google and for AI search
People now ask ChatGPT and Google's AI answers for recommendations, not just a list of links. We structure every site so both can read it clearly: who you are, what you do, where you work.
Faster, without skipping steps
A project like this used to take two months or more. Today it takes about five weeks. The research and planning take as long as they ever did. The build is what got faster.
How we use AI
We use AI, and we say so. It is a tool that speeds up production, and it's the reason a small business can now afford work that used to be out of reach.
It does not replace strategic thinking or judgment. 21+ years of experience have taught us how people buy, what makes them trust a company, and the local realities of doing business in Western North Carolina. Those calls are still ours.
